More than a game

The Mizzou Quidditch team got off to a rocky start its first season. They ended it without clinching a top eight spot, which would ensure the team advanced to the World Cup Championships. After three years of building and rebuilding a team, the Mizzou Quidditch team found a group of people that just clicked. This year, the team is forced to use its off-season to train, but for good reason. After ending their regular season with a record of 7-7 and placing in the top 30 it is between tough loses, concussions and a newly solidified status as an official Mizzou club sport team, that it has pushed through the pain and is on its way to South Carolina for the International Quidditch Association's World Cup competition in April.
